Country Lane! Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop! Chemin de Campagne!

Hello and a big welcome from France on your visit as part of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop where we highlight this month the Country Lane suite of products.

It's a pleasure to present my projects to you, a set of cards and a beautiful Harvest / Thanksgiving sampler. So read on to find out how my creations came to light.

Here are my projects all together and if you follow my blog you will know that I love to create samplers for different seasons and occasions and run them at class workshops and ateliers. They are the perfect showcase for the suite of products or collection of goodies to highlight the best of the items on offer in the current catalogue.

And of course the sampler fits perfectly in the Ikea Ribba frame which is widely available and also a good price point.

So on to my cards - and I've created a little bit of Autumnal ink blending - but we're still experiencing extraordinary high temperatures in France at the moment!

I did a small hike last weekend with my son's German exchange student and it was nice to see the rich and varied colours of the season in our local woods.

To create my cards I have first masked off a strip and then used Versamark ink and white embossing powder to create the background. Then taking my Sponge Daubers I have ink blended the colours along the strip (you will find all the colours used in the product list at the bottom of the post).

For my sampler I have used a square die cut from the Stitched Shaped Framelits which cuts the perfect sized square for my creation.

Don't you love the new Galvanized Metallic Paper? It's such fun to add to our projects!

Here are some close up shots of the parts of my sampler, I'm sure you agree it's the perfect project for a class or atelier (in the Northern Hemisphere of course!)

I hope that you love my creations and that they gave you some inspiration. On the other side of the world you will hop to Susan in New Zealand and see her awesome projects. But come back soon!

Voilà! J'espère que vous aimez ma création et dites-moi si ça vous plaît!

De l'autre cote du monde il y a Susan en Nouvelle-Zélande, elle va vous plaire, j'en suis sûre, mais revenez bientôt:
