Make a Tropical Escape!

As soon as I saw this Collection in the Stampin' Up! catalogue I have been itching to get my hands on it and start creating with it!

And now the summer holidays are here, I've finally had my chance. So I'm delighted to share some of my creations with you today.

Ink blending, subtle background die cutting and embossing is being highlighted with today's blog post.

Finding different ways to use your dies is a great way to stretch your supplies. For the card above I die cut the background and for the card below I dry embossed the background using the same dies.

For the card below I head embossed the leaf stamp with white embossing powder and then added a very thin layer (I didn't use water colour paper) of ink using my Aqua Painters.

Don't these three colours work well together?

And the sentiments in this stamp set are just lovely.

Thanks for joining me today, bisous,
