Picture Perfect Party! Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop! Fête de folie!

Yes it's that time again! Are you enjoying the Artisan Hop? If you started here it's always a pleasure to welcome you and if you hopped over from Rhoda's blog - a big hello !!

So on with the Blog Hop, this month the team have had the pleasure to work with the Picture Perfect Party Suite of products. Or the Big, Bright and Colourful suite as I call it!

I've had so much fun playing with all these colours and usually I'm a black, white and craft card stock sort of girl!

For my products I decided to let the beautiful Designer Series Paper do all the talking, but with a twist. I used the Tailored Tag Punch to cut the paper and then highlight the images against coloured card stock.

Let me walk you through the creation of each of my cards.

First of all we have a shaker card (well yes it's not a secret that I love shaker cards) made with vellum card stock and the Gold Glitter Flakes in the Occasions catalogue. Behind my shaker card I used the DSP with the big gold number balloons highlighted on Lemon Lime Twist card stock.

Look at those flakes - yum! I made my sentiment pop by heat embossing with White powder on Basic Black card stock.

Onto the "hat card" and this time I used Berry Burst card stock and matted with Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist.

I only partly stamped out my sentiment so that I could add a focus with the "You" die cut and I cut my sentiment into an arrow shape to point towards the You too.

I added some Gold sequin trim and threaded this through the die cut for emphasis too.

Onto the donut card - my favourite - they just look so realistic! I think I put on weight just looking at these pictures!

So I stamped my sentiment onto Bermuda Bay card stock and used the Tailored Tag Punch again (did you guess that I love this punch shape). More gold sequin trim and one of the Mini Binder clips too in Lemon Lime Twist (did you guess that's one of my favourite colours right now).

I think those donuts really pop on the Basic Black card stock, what about you?

Thanks for joining me today, I hope I gave you some food for thought and you can get your creative juices flowing with my fun cards.

Next up on the hop is Susan in New Zealand, she's awesome so zoom through cyberspace and visit her blog, I know you're going to love her project! But come back soon, I'm always creating something and I love to share on my blog:

De l'autre cote du monde il y a Susan en Nouvelle-Zélande, elle va vous plaire, j'en suis sûre, mais revenez bientôt:
