Springtime Foils using Window Box dies

Have you seen the new SAB item - Springtime Foils Specialty DSP - it's so pretty!! And what's more you can colour it too!!

Now of course you can't buy this item - but you can get it for FREE!! Yes with a 60€/£45 spend in my Stampin' Up! online store you can add it to your cart at no extra cost :)

Today's creations are for a work colleague who has just got married. The card (scroll down for photos) was CASEd from Pinterest (created by a German Stampin' Up! demonstrator called Nadine) and that in turn inspired my pop-up card decoration.

You probably remember how popular this was last year devised by UK Stampin' Up! demonstrators Barry and Jay of Mitosu Crafts.  I have a visual tutorial HERE you can follow to create this or you can search on YouTube for the original video.

And having had the Petal Palette bundle in the house for a couple of hours I was itching to use it!

So after the initial colouring and creation of the card base, it's all about decoration. The colours I chose were Powder Pink (I used my brayer to sponge the DSP with this colour), Sweet Sugarplum, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. See below for my full list of supplies.

And here you can see that the decoration folds completely flat so if you need to post it you can!

Here is the matching card, I heat embossed the sentiments in Copper embossing powder as this goes well with the rose gold colour in the foiled paper.

This paper is lovely and thick, so you can make boxes and decorations out of it with no worries!

Thanks for joining me today, and don't forget to check out my TUTORIAL HERE.
