Sure Do Love You! Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop! Peint avec amour!

Have you been enjoying our creations? Here we are already with the Artisan Design Team blog hop number two and this month we are focusing on the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set and Painted with Love Specialty DSP on page 19 of the Spring:Summer catalogue.

If you don't have a copy of the catalogue and don't already have a demonstrator I would be delighted to welcome you as my customer or team member if you are ready to join Stampin' Up!

So without further ado let me tell you about my project.  It's a sampler or a home decoration item and it fits perfectly into the popular Ribba picture frame (23cm x 23cm) sold by Ikea.

Knowing that our hop would take place the day after Valentines Day, I was keen to create something that wasn't just for February 14 - because love takes place all year right? It's not just the marketing for Valentines Day that should lead our declarations of love!!

There's even a mini shaker in the sampler:

Those Stitched Shapes framelit dies are a perfect fit for this project too - you can get 9 equally spaced within the frame and it takes all the hard work out of cutting with the trimmer :) But of course, I love my Stampin' Up! trimmer, wouldn't and couldn't be without it!

So I've included lots of pictures of individual squares so you can see exactly how I created my sampler.

I absolutely love the Mini Tinsel Trim ribbon and I'm nearly out of it so I will definitely be ordering some more and making sure that I make the minimum order amount to qualify for some Sale-a-bration goodies. Did you know that some more items are being added tomorrow? You can read all about it in my post HERE.

Do you like my pink glittery heart? I took one of the wooden shapes from the Annual Catalogue and wrapped the tinsel trim around it and secured it with a glue dot!

There you go - fits perfectly into the Ribba frame. So thank you for reaching the end of my post, congratulations!

Next up on the hop is Susan in New Zealand, she's awesome so zoom through cyberspace and visit her blog, I know you're going to love her project! But come back soon, I'm always creating something and I love to share on my blog:
