Snowflake Sparkle

Non-traditional colours for Christmas definitely make it more interesting! But of course I have to use pink and silver. This card even has a little bit of glitter on the ribbon too.

Clean and Simple Brightly Lit Christmas

Yes it is true that I can't put these lamp posts away! Today I have a clean and simple card to share, lots of white space to embrace.

I love the contrasting colours of this card, the embossed background the the dimensional snowbank layers with the lamp post slipped in between.

Brightly Lit Christmas Ink Blended

Did you try some ink blending? I had so much fun creating this card - and messy fingers too! Remember to use a scrap piece of paper to protect your ink blending  while  you move around the paper. That way you won't get finger prints in your ink blending.

On to today's card - I had in mind an aurora borealis idea - I'd love to visit the Northern Lights!

Snowflake Sentiments Ink Blended

This week I have some beautiful ink blended Christmas cards to share with you. So get your sponge daubers at the ready!

Today's card features some heat embossing too, in two different ways. Firstly the sentiment is heat embossed in gold to pop out at you. Also the snowflakes are heat embossed in white to stand out from the ink blending.

Dream Theme Design Team - Engagement

Hello and welcome for another blog hop. This time around the theme is Engagement. This is well timed for me because my niece has just got engaged and is planning her wedding for next summer in Edinburgh. So I looking forward to a holiday visiting Scotland next year.

To create my card I used the new kit "Color Me Happy" and the Stampin' Blends. Have you tried them out yet?

More Brightly Lit Christmas

Am I terribly odd for thinking that craft, red and black are the colours for Christmas? I honestly was going to use another colour for my second creation with the Brightly Lit Christmas set but I was drawn again to the craft card stock.

And that ribbon with the little crosses is to die for! I had to have two attempts at the bow to make sure the crosses were on the right side. Those of you that attend my ateliers know me and my bows!

Brightly Lit Christmas

It's official! Holiday time is here and I just love it to pieces! I am totally in love with this amazing set from the Autumn:Winter 2017 catalogue too. This week I will be sharing a couple of creations with this fun set.

Now let's talk about craft card stock! Definitely a colour for Christmas and it goes so well with the Lemon Lime Twist and Real Red. It really makes those colours pop out from the card.

Customer Thank You cards for September

Life has been a little bit hectic recently and I forgot to share with you my customer thank you cards for September! Better late than never I guess!

I CASED this card from one I saw on Pinterest that used a complete stamp for the flowers on the cat. I didn't have that stamp set so I set about creating the cluster of flowers myself using the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. I stamped the images close together and then I took the Spooky Cat Punch and punched out the cat shape and added the face. Then I punched two more cat shapes in Berry Burst card stock and adhered these behind my stamped cat shape.
