Hello and welcome to my blog.

Pour la version française il faut que vous deviez cliquer ici et puis cliquez sur le drapeau français ci-dessus (peut-être deux fois parce que il faut le temps de faire la traduction).

Today I have my 2016 Project Life® title pages to share with you and a video that introduces the free with purchase Sale-A-Bration speciality collection cards from the Memories in the Making kit by Stampin' Up!

Following on from last week's blog post that set out my intentions and hopes for this years project, it is important for me to keep my pages simple.  The way I envisage this working is not sticking to a rigid week by week spread. This fluidity appeals to me and fits in much better with my current working/time situation.

I also hope that my pages will have more journaling, more of my own handwriting recording my feelings of the things that we have experienced as a family. I also want to include my children's writings, thoughts and artwork too. That is a very important part of recording our memories.

To construct my title page for 2016 I took inspiration again from Elise Cripe and used again the triangular layout that I constructed for my 2014 album. This year I am using a 6x8" album so selected the 4 photo pocket page.

This procedure is pretty simple, you just have to bear in mind the directionality of the pattern on the cards that you select and pose your photos accordingly. I used my sewing machine in 2014 to seal the pockets, this time I used my WRMK fuse tool (hope that Stampin' Up! adds this to the Catalogue soon!).  I am using the Memories in the Making Project Life® suite of products, remember you can Bundle and Save 15% on the Stamp set, Card collection and Accessory pack.

I have a quick video to share today too. This is a introduction to the Memories in the Making Project Life® speciality card collection that you can earn for free when spending 60 €/£45 in my Stampin' Up! online store. You can watch here or on YouTube, remember to watch in HD and give me a thumbs up -

Thanks very much for joining me today and I am back again tomorrow with a video tutorial to share,

  1. I just decided today to change my mind and go back to 12 x 12 for the reason that I had so many great 4x6 cards I wanted to use. Looking forwards to seeing your album this year!
