Make it Monday | Watercolors with Die Cut Stencils

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I am joining in with the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge #218 and this week we are doing watercoloring using die cut stencils with Lexi.

I used freezer paper to die cut my stencil and after ironing it onto my watercolour paper I added my paint - I wanted a more muted look as the card is for my Mother in Law.

I just love the effect - so pretty! Here are some more photos ~

If you are playing along with the challenge please leave a comment so that I can visit your creations and give them some love.

Thanks for visiting and have a beautiful day.

  2. This is SO beautiful!! I just love the soft look of your card...so lovely!! Does freezer paper stick to your cardstock when you iron it on? Have never heard this but will definitely have to try it out! :0)

    1. Thanks Marcia - yes the sticky side when ironed creates a barrier, it's great to use with watercoloring :)
