watercolour masking | mother's day card

Hello and welcome to my blog.

A month or so ago I shared a couple of Valentine cards that I had created using the watercolour masking technique.  This is where you apply a mask of drawing gum and then watercolour within the shape. I will have a video tutorial next week on this so be sure to follow my blog (links on the sidebar for Bloglovin' or email subscription or YouTube channel (link in the pages above to my videos) so as not to miss it.

Today I am sharing a Mother's Day card that I made using this technique. I cannot get enough of the Sweet Laughter/Merci Maman stamp set from Stampin' Up! I have used this set on so many cards and I will be back tomorrow with another and on Friday with a round up.

So here is the watercolour card that I produced ~

I love the beautiful colours that the watercoloured inks have produced and the sequins add just that little touch of bling :)

Thanks for reading and have a great day.x
